Jen and I managed to win our age group in everything we swam but before I start gloating there were a couple events that we were the only swimmers in our age group.\u00a0 In fact in most of the events there was only one or two heats for all age groups but what really matters is that we were there.\u00a0 Yeah, so there.<\/p>\n<p>Overall we were pretty pleased with our times except I was a little <span>disappointed<\/span> with my 200 free time. <\/p>\n<p><strong>50 Meter Fly<\/strong><br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Jennifer   33.56<br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Derek   27.75<\/p>\n<p><strong>100 Meter Free<\/strong><br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Jennifer  1:07:01<\/p>\n<p><strong>50 Meter Free<\/strong><br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Jennifer  29.75 <br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Derek   26.05<\/p>\n<p><strong>100 Meter Fly<\/strong><br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Jennifer   1:15.39<\/p>\n<p><strong>200 Meter Free<\/strong><br \/> 1  <span>McEachern<\/span>, Derek   2:15.30<\/p>\n<p> The highlight of the meet for me was the 50 free where I got to swim next to Jim Montgomery.\u00a0 Yes, that Jim Montgomery, Saturday morning trivial push ups &#8220;Who was the first person to break 50 seconds in the 100 free?&#8221; Jim Montgomery.\u00a0 <span>Incidentally<\/span> I ended up beating him but then again he is 18 years older then I am.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They finally posted the meet results today.
