Did our weekly trip out to the house and things are coming along pretty well. The brick is about 95% complete, the walls have had the texture added, the hardwood floors have been installed and while we were there a crew was working on putting up the trim and staircase hardware.

The brick and stone look REALLY nice. And this time, the fireplace and chimney really jumped out at me. Why is it that both my houses in TX had a fireplace, as well as both of your houses in TX, and almost everyone in TX that I know, and yet I DO NOT HAVE ONE IN CANADA??!!
Looking good, guess people who thought we wouldn’t be able to have Christmas in Texas were wrong. I’m pumped bc we can all be in the same house and won’t even have to see each other bc it’s so big! 🙂
